Roman Reigns returned to WWE last night on Monday Night Raw, one month after having been attacked by The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed) at Clash in Paris. The OTC saved his cousins, The Usos, from yet another attack at the hands of The Vision.
Reigns is one of WWE's biggest stars right now, and his return got a tremendous reaction. Now that the OTC is back after a brief hiatus, let's explore how Roman's presence could shake up the company's main event scene beyond his ongoing feud with The Vision.
A Match With Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker Is A Former Two-Time WWE Intercontinental Champion
A Showdown With Roman Reigns Could Take Him To The Next Level Even In Defeat
They Will Probably Meet At Crown Jewel: Perth
Moments before being viciously attacked by The Vision at Clash in Paris, Roman Reigns had defeated Bronson Reed. Therefore, a showdown with Reed's tag team partner, Bron Breakker, would be the next logical step in this storyline.
WWE seems determined to make Breakker a future top star, so a competitive match with The OTC (perhaps at Crown Jewel: Perth in Australia) would elevate him immediately. For Reigns, a big win would allow him to build momentum heading into an inevitable battle with Seth Rollins.
Survivor Series: WarGames Is On The Horizon

Roman Reigns Will Probably Be A Member Of The Babyface Team
Reigns Has Feuded With Several Top WWE Babyfaces
WWE Could Use This Match To Keep Reigns Away From The World Title Picture A Bit Longer
With Survivor Series coming up in November, it's pretty much guaranteed there will be a WarGames Match between The Vision and a team of top babyfaces at the event. The OTC is one of The Vision's biggest rivals, so he'll be leading the charge against Seth Rollins' group.
This is where things get interesting. Roman isn't exactly best friends with his potential partners. Names like CM Punk, LA Knight or even Cody Rhodes could join the party. While a clash with Seth Rollins does seem inevitable like I said, this is an easy way to keep Reigns away from the world title picture.
World Heavyweight Title Match With Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins Is The Current World Heavyweight Champion
Reigns Lost To Rollins At WrestleMania 41 After Paul Heyman Turned On The OTC
Their Last Singles Match Took Place At Royal Rumble 2022
As the leader of The Vision, the current World Heavyweight Champion and the man who "stole" Paul Heyman from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41, a collision between the former members of The Shield seems like the natural next step.
The two have a rich history dating back more than a decade, and their feud seems more heated than ever right now. A World Title matchup between Rollins and Reigns could easily main event any major WWE show, including WrestleMania.
But what if WWE doesn't want Roman Reigns in the world title picture just yet? Let's explore some alternative scenarios that could happen.
Jey Uso Turns Heel And Faces Reigns
Jey Uso Held The World Heavyweight Championship As A Babyface In 2025
Uso Intentionally Speared LA Knight During The Build To Wrestlepalooza
He Could Turn On Roman Reigns To Resume Their Feud
Another storyline simmering in the background is Jey Uso's possible heel turn. The 2025 Royal Rumble winner has teased it during the build to Wrestlepalooza, including a deliberate Spear to fellow babyface, LA Knight.
While Reigns saved The Usos in his return, Jey could very well turn heel soon in a desperate attempt to step out of Roman's shadow. A program between Reigns and Jey - now with the roles reversed - is definitely something that could happen in the near future.
The Brock Lesnar Wild Card

Brock Lesnar Made His Shocking WWE Return At SummerSlam 2025
A Reunion With Paul Heyman Has Been Teased
If It Happens, We Could Get Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns Yet Again
Another name that must be considered is Brock Lesnar. The Beast made his controversial return to WWE at SummerSlam 2025, attacking John Cena before essentially squashing him at Wrestlepalooza. Before the match, Paul Heyman served as Lesnar's personal ring announcer for the first time in years.
WWE has been teasing a reunion between them, and if it materializes, we could very well see Reigns vs Lesnar for the millionth time in the next few months. While it's easily the most unpopular choice on this list, it's one that must be mentioned anyway.
His First Major Singles Match Against CM Punk

The Shield Debuted To Help CM Punk Retain His WWE Championship At Survivor Series 2012
Their Only Singles Match To Date Took Place On The January 6, 2014 Episode Of Raw (Reigns Won)
CM Punk & Roman Reigns Are Two Of Paul Heyman's Most Successful 'Clients'
CM Punk and Roman Reigns were both low-blowed by Paul Heyman in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, allowing Seth Rollins to steal the win in their triple threat match. Reigns and Punk will probably be uneasy allies heading into Survivor Series.

Their only singles match took place on an episode of Raw all the way back in January 2014, just three short weeks before CM Punk walked out of the promotion, so a storyline between them could easily lead into their first major singles match on PPV/PLE.
John Cena's Retirement Tour

John Cena Will Compete In His Final WWE Match In December 2025
Cena Hasn't Faced Roman Reigns In His Retirement Tour
Their Last Match To Date Happened At SummerSlam 2021
Honestly, one last John Cena vs. Roman Reigns match doesn't fit WWE's current storyline direction at all. However, all you need is to take a quick look at John Cena's retirement tour to understand that won't stop WWE from booking it anyway.
Much like AJ Styles, who will meet Cena one final time in October, Roman Reigns is one of WWE's current active stars who shares more history with John Cena. They haven't met since SummerSlam 2021, so there's a small chance the two will face off again before Cena hangs up his sneakers.
What do you want to see next for Roman Reigns? Should he continue his war with The Vision leading up to a showdown with Seth Rollins, or would you prefer an alternative feud with someone like Jey Uso, Brock Lesnar, John Cena or CM Punk? Let me know in the comments!
