WWE Crown Jewel 2025 Predictions

The prestigious PLE known as Crown Jewel goes down under to Perth Australia in 2025, and boy we gotta doozie in store. The giant main event on the marquee is Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins, an almighty champion versus champion collision to determine this year's Crown Jewel Champion. Cody defeated Gunther at last year's Crown Jewel event, but will he win it back-to-back and go 4-0 against Rollins, or can Seth Rollins finally defeat Cody Rhodes and become the ultimate champion of the WWE?
Elsewhere, Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton come together for a huge barn-burner with the Women's Crown Jewel Championship on the line to see who the queen of women's wrestling in WWE is. AJ Styles and John Cena meet for the final time as part of John Cena's Retirement Tour in what should no doubt be an absolute show-stealer. Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley team up to take on the Empress (or should that be Tyrant) of Tomorrow Asuka and her underling Kairi Sane. Also, Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed run it back from their bout at Clash in Paris with an Australian Street Fight. The match-up jewels in this PLE crown are royally exciting, but who will rise to glory on this night?

Bronson Reed vs. Roman Reigns
Australian Street Fight
The OTC is out for revenge on Bronson Reed for all the Tsunamis that have squashed Roman's body over the past number of weeks as The Vision continues to run roughshod over RAW. Unfinished business is business for chaos in this wrecking ball-sized match-up. Roman defeated Bronson at Clash in Paris, but got destroyed afterwards.
Now in this Australian Street Fight, these two behemoths lock horns again, but who will get the duke this time? In my mind, I think Bronson Reed wins. You might be thinking, how can Bronson Reed win when he's facing the almighty OTC? One guy - Bron Breakker! I reckon Bron Breakker will invade much like he did last month at Clash In Paris, but this time he will cost Reigns this match-up, building their feud towards future PLEs.
Winner Prediction: Bronson Reed
Iyo Sky And Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka And Kairi Sane
Tag Team Match
This storyline between Asuka, Kairi Sane, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley is very alluring for modern WWE. Asuka has become a full-blown heel in the past couple of months, as she's been disrespecting other superstars, treating Kairi like a slave, and attempting to disengage Iyo Sky from befriending Rhea Ripley, which has caused much hardship Iyo due to her and Rhea's friendship. With Iyo's loyalty dilemmas in disarray, Asuka forces her to choose her allegiance because she refuses to be allies with Rhea. However, Asuka ultimately betrays Iyo, while continually keeping Kairi under her influence, and now we have this intriguing tag team match.
The winner of this match depends on how large this storyline will be. As it stands, I feel The Kabuki Warriors should win to give Asuka a greater villain aura, one that will be a dominating force ahead of a match with Iyo Sky. It would not be ideal for Iyo and Rhea to win and mow over The Kabuki Warriors because there's a lot more story sustenance in here to wrangle out. Although it's a toss-up in terms of an official prediction, I'll still side with The Kabuki Warriors winning, but I won't be surprised if Rhea and Iyo win.
Winner Prediction: Iyo Skye and Rhea Ripley
AJ Styles vs. John Cena
Singles Match

Much like the build for John Cena versus Brock Lesnar the previous month, there's not a lot of build going on with AJ Styles vs. John Cena. Of course, the history between these two superstars and their phenomenal (no pun intended) matches speak for themselves, yet a reason for them to wrestle each other would've been preferred over this slapdash match-up getting thrown together - even if it isn't needed because fans will watch it anyway. Styles has said a few words on the microphone about the match, and he's just relishing the chance to beat up on Cena again, but the match has to be great otherwise it'll all be for naught.
As there is little to glean because of a lack of a storyline, it would seem to me that Cena will win because this match is about Cena's retirement and I can't see what AJ could gain from this except some pride that he's beaten Cena again. Remember when Styles beat Cena at SummerSlam in 2016, and then he took Cena's head band and wore it as a souvenir? He was all proud to be the face that runs the place over on SmackDown Live. Now in 2025, there's nothing of substance within this match-up from a storyline standpoint, and only the wrestling will say everything that needs to be said. Neither man really needs the win at this point in their careers, so I see Cena going over since this is his farewell tour, after all.
Winner Prediction: John Cena
Stephanie Vaquer (Women's World Champion) vs. Tiffany Stratton (Women's WWE Champion)
Singles Match For The Women's Crown Jewel Championship
Not that I want to rain on this match's parade in any form, but the contract signing that Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton had on SmackDown was incredibly dull. I understand these two champions are very talented and the match itself should be a fantastic back-and-forth affair, but even though the two are faces who respect each other, they spouted many eye-rolling and predictable lines during that contract signing segment - and worst of all it didn't end in bedlam!
To put the bias about the contract signing's quality out of the way, it's not easy to predict a winner here. Vaquer has only recently won her Women's World Championship, while Tiffany has held her WWE Women's Championship since early January. It might be easy to think Tiffany Stratton will win because of her dominance this year, but Stephanie has blazed her own momentum - which is exactly why this is a fantastic match on paper. I think Tiffany Stratton still wins it, although you may say she's been a bit like Charlotte Flair with her winning prowess this year. Vaquer will be brilliant and her offence will be stunning, but Tiffy Time is taking a long time to run out and I don't think it will run out courtesy of Stephanie Vaquer.
Winner Prediction: Tiffany Stratton
Seth Rollins (World Heavyweight Champion) vs. Cody Rhodes (WWE Champion)
Singles Match For The Men's Crown Jewel Championship
For the fourth time since Cody Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38, we have Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins. Seth is 3-0 against Cody and it appears as though Seth is in a must-win situation because not only will losing to Cody a fourth time force him to be recognized as second best, but also The Oracle Paul Heyman has stated that if Seth were to lose, he may consider re-aligning with Roman Reigns. Cody meanwhile, not only has those three victories against Seth, but he also won the Crown Jewel Championship last year when he defeated Gunther. Cody has all the momentum and Seth has none of it as far as the story going into this war is concerned.
This prediction is easy for me because it makes all the sense in the world - Seth Rollins will defeat Cody Rhodes. Things might be very interesting if Seth loses, but WWE aren't going to lean into something unpredictable here because the building blocks have already been assembled. Seth beat Reigns and CM Punk at WrestleMania 41, he has created The Vision who are running the show on RAW, and Seth has reclaimed the World Heavyweight Championship. Seth doesn't need to worry about Paul Heyman's words because those words are purely motivation. Cody has had his shine and his victories, but the sweet champagne of success has to turn bitter at some point, and Seth is the man to turn that wine sour. So with an emphatic decision, I think Seth is definitely winning this time.
Winner Prediction: Seth Rollins
