Your hosts are Vince McMahon & Bobby Heenan
The episode starts with a recap of Shawn Michaels interfering in last week's match between Diesel and Razor Ramon, followed by The 1-2-3 Kid running in to make the save. That has led to Michaels vs Kid tonight.
We then hear from Shawn Michaels, who has his own IC Title belt on his shoulder. HBK isn't happy about what The Kid did last week on RAW and plans on ending his short career tonight.
RAW's intro plays afterwards.
The commentators, Heenan and McMahon, welcome us to the show. Heenan claims The 1-2-3 Kid is lucky to face a champion tonight, which starts an argument about the IC Title situation. Also tonight, Doink & Dink will be in action (oh joy...) and so will Crush. Plus, McMahon says Gorilla Monsoon will be here to confront Heenan about everything he's said recently. Heenan mocks Gorilla.
Shawn Michaels vs. The 1-2-3 Kid

Michaels corners The Kid to start, but Kid fights back and shows a lot of fire. They both reverse several moves, Kid gets the better of that exchange with a series of kicks and takes Michaels out on the floor with a dive. Back inside the ring, The Kid hits a German Suplex for two. Kid applies a headlock, HBK tries to escape but The Kid just doesn't let go. Finally, Michaels escapes by hitting a backdrop suplex. Michaels rams Kid into the corner and slugs away. Shawn catches The Kid with a headscissors dumping The Kid to the outside. Shawn meets him there, only to get rammed into the post. The Kid goes for a flying attack off the apron to the floor, only to get slammed in midair by Michaels.
Commercial break
We're back from break with Shawn hitting a pair of backbreakers for two. Michaels sets him up for a superplex, but The Kid shoves him off the top. The Kid with a missile dropkick, but Michaels catches him in midair with a dropkick of his own for a nearfall. Shawn hits another backbreaker and transitions right into a submission stretching The Kid over his knee. The 1-2-3 Kid escapes, catches Michaels with a spinning heel kick for two and then their heads collide. They get back up at the same time and Kid starts unloading on Shawn with a number of quick punches and kicks. The Kid goes up top and hits the flying bodypress that beat Razor Ramon for a really close nearfall. Kid goes up top again, but misses a swanton bomb and we take another break.
Commercial break
When we return, Shawn delivers Sweet Chin Music to The 1-2-3 Kid. Shawn picks him back up to hit the Razor's Edge, he covers The Kid but breaks up the count. HBK hits a second Razor's Edge but it's still not enough. Michaels goes for a third Razor's Edge... but here comes Razor Ramon himself to save The Kid at 15:00.
Winner: Shawn Michaels by DQ
Razor goes after Michaels afterwards, but gets taken out thanks to a cheapshot from Diesel, who was standing behind the curtain. Michaels proceeds to hit Ramon with the Razor's Edge on the concrete floor twice.
Rating: For an ordinary episode of RAW, this was a terrific fast-paced back-and-forth matchup. Shawn Michaels did a phenomenal job as always, while The 1-2-3 looked great by going toe-to-toe against a bigger star. The post-match angle was awesome as well, by the way. ***1/2
The Quebecers (Jacques & Pierre) (w/ Johnny Polo) vs. Brian Walsh & Bert Centeno
Jacques gets on his knees to fight Centeno and bitchslaps him, so Centeno actually hits a dropkick before tagging out quickly. The Quebecers trash talk Centeno who's on the apron, while Walsh just stands there in the ring doing nothing. Walsh also gets to kick Pierre once before Pierre gives him a clothesline. Pierre forces him to tag Centeno back in and brings in Jacques so he can kick his ass. Jacques backdrops Pierre onto Centeno. The Quebecers shoot Centeno off for a double-team move, but Centeno trips and falls awkwardly on the ropes. Jacques follows it up with a piledriver and makes the tag to Pierre, who puts Centeno away with the double-team senton at 4:26. The Quebecers beat them up some more after the bell.
Winners: The Quebecers
Rating: It went a bit long, but this was a cool squash with The Quebecers making fun of the jobbers the whole time and giving them just enough offense to make it more entertaining. 1/2*
We see an ad for the 1994 Royal Rumble PPV.
And now, McMahon & Heenan talk with Owen Hart to get his thoughts on Bret Hart winning the 1993 WWF Superstar Of The Year award last week. Owen Hart (who's wearing Bret's shades) says it's great for his brother, but he has a surprise that will have everyone talking about OWEN.
Doink the Clown (w/ Dink) vs. Tony DeVito
Doink goes to work on DeVito with a number of submissions while Dink is messing around with a horn at ringside. Doink suplexes DeVito a few times while the commentators talk about everything BUT what's happening inside the ring. Doink goes back to the submission holds and this is getting long. DeVito finally gets a few shots, but Doink cuts him off rather easily. The flying buttdrop splash finishes DeVito in 5:58.
Winner: Doink the Clown
Rating: Long, boring and heatless. Not fun at all. DUD
Another Jeff Jarrett vignette airs.
Randy Savage will return to in-ring action when he faces Fatu next week on RAW.
Main Event
Crush (w/ Mr. Fuji) vs. Tony Roy
Crush dominates the match while we hear from Randy Savage on the phone, who's in England for a WWF European Tour. Unfortunately, we can't hear anything Savage says so they just move on. That's a rather interesting way to promote Savage's first RAW match in months! Anyway, Crush drops Tony Roy throat-first on the top rope with a gorilla press slam and gets the pinfall win at 4:10.
Winner: Crush
Rating: Just a squash designed to promote Randy Savage's upcoming match against Fatu. 1/4*
Next week: a special interview with The Undertaker, Adam Bomb will be in action, The Smoking Gunns will be in action too and, of course, Randy Savage vs Fatu.
Meanwhile, Gorilla Monsoon joins us at ringside. Gorilla says Bobby Heenan has just won a "free trip" before dragging him all the way to the back. Monsoon throws Heenan and his bags out of the building, finally getting payback for all the insults from Heenan over the last decade. A humiliated Heenan tries to pick up his luggage at first, but then just looks back and (with tears in his eyes) officially says goodbye with a salute right before RAW goes off the air. And that right there was the end of Bobby Heenan's legendary run with the World Wrestling Federation.
END OF THE SHOW
Final thoughts: Wow, that ending was something else. Bobby Heenan had been such an integral part of the WWF's product for a decade that it was genuinely hard to imagine what the show would look like without him. On the other hand, this was the perfect way to write Heenan off television, and Gorilla was the right person to send him packing. As far as the rest of the show, Shawn Michaels vs 1-2-3 Kid was an awesome opener with a great post-match angle to continue the HBK/Razor feud, the squashes were all decent apart from Doink's, and Macho Man will be back next week! Honestly, I enjoyed the episode. 7/10
