Howdy, readers! Prince Osborne here, with a predicted match card for Money In The Bank 2025 set in Los Angeles, CA, based on my understanding of current storylines and booking decisions to be made.
Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Zelina Vega vs. Chelsea Green vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Alba Fyre

From what was seen in the last few months, WWE has done a fantabulous job of intertwining different rivalries under a single spotlight without creating a forcefully connected bridge, especially the recent United States title match at Backlash. For a match that brings one of the wildest opportunities at stake, there has to be a mix of veterans and upstarts, thereby leaving unpredictability on a strong note. Lyra & Becky are killing it so far in their rivalry with Bayley as the catalyst, while Roxanne's main roster run kicked off in style. The same could be said for Zelina against Chelsea & The Secret Her-vice, but Alexa Bliss needs something remarkable to work on since her return. Pitting all these women would not only give us a stellar ladder match and maintain the streak of delivering amazing MITB battles, but also amp up the tension within such rivalries and potentially line up for a blow-off at SummerSlam.
Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio [C] vs. AJ Styles

After a fantastic string of title defenses against Penta, the whole world was waiting to see who could step up in contention against the "most successful" Mysterio, and it was none other than The Phenomenal, AJ Styles! As exciting as the match sounds on paper, this could be a cool foreshadowing for Finn Bálor's turncoat that has been teased for months. Also, I could see a world where AJ & Finn go at it once again to either make Finn realize his true potential or try to safeguard Dominik as a classic distraction so that he could pull the trigger and show his true colors.
WWE Women's Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton [C] vs. Nia Jax vs. Jade Cargill vs. Naomi

Similar to Dominik, Tiffany was also in need of new challenges, and there was a fleet of contenders like Jade, Naomi & Jax that stepped in and vouched for the title so far. Just like Jacob Fatu at Backlash, chances are high that all these women could be in the same ring for a feisty battle. Even though Jax isn't new to the title picture, having her alongside a fresh slate doesn't hinder the scene that deeply. If this is the direction set for LA, it could be a great platform for Jade to escalate to bigger heights and for Naomi to exercise her true potential with her new character, and possibly become a viable threat moving forward.
Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Sheamus vs. Rusev vs. Penta vs. El Grande Americano vs. Rey Fenix vs. Santos Escobar vs. Aleister Black vs. Carmelo Hayes

There are a lot of stories that can be interlinked in this high-octane match, just like the women's edition. Penta confronting El Grande Americano's sly defamation, Sheamus finding his way to stop the unstoppable Rusev, Fenix stepping in for Andrade to halt Santos' overconfidence, and Hayes not backing down for Black's ominous presence - these stories will meet their progress, but connecting those in a stage like this would not only elevate the performers' stock, but also upscaling one of the stars to the big league.
Unsanctioned Match: CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins

One of the monumental angles out of WrestleMania was the generational shift of guard by Paul Heyman, betraying Roman Reigns & CM Punk and joining with Seth Rollins. With the addition of Bron Breakker and earning the confrontations from Sami Zayn & Jey Uso, this new force has already caught the attention of WWE fans like a lightning bolt. Now that the collision course is set for Saturday Night's Main Event, the outcome has to be the perfect blow-off for this rivalry.
There's a huge discourse over Punk facing Cena at this PLE to deliver another throwback match dating back to 2011, but this storyline has too much potential to take any form of pivot/detour this early. Considering the intensity of these individuals' hatred and the magnitude of this faction's next chapter, making these mavericks contest in an unsanctioned environment amplifies the rivalry to new heights, and also entering the next chapter in style (like a wild Roman Reigns' entry in place of Punk).
What do you think of this match card? Do you agree or disagree with this? Let your thoughts flourish in the comments section. Until next time, enjoy wrestling and life!
I know many people want to see Punk vs Cena because of nostalgia like you said, but does it really make sense to do it NOW?? I don't think so, personally. Good match card. If Dominik Mysterio hadn't won the IC Title recently, he'd be my pick for Mr. MITB in 2025. Considering he won't be in the match, and he really shouldn't be dropping the IC Title soon, I'm not sure who should win. As far as the women's division goes, I could see Becky Lynch getting the briefcase after returning.
